Irvin G. Condon is the Charleston County Judge of Probate. Judge Condon was elected Probate Judge in November 1994 and was re-elected in 1998, 2002 and 2006 without opposition. He had previously been a shareholder in the law firm of Rosen, Rosen & Hagood, P.A., in Charleston, S.C. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, magna cum laude, from Clemson University and his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of South Carolina. Judge Condon is a Certified Public Accountant and worked for Price Waterhouse for three years before going to law school.
He is a member of the Charleston County Bar Association; the South Carolina Bar; the American Bar Association; the S.C. Association of Probate Judges; the National College of Probate Judges; the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; the S.C. Association of Drug Court Professionals; and the National Association of Drug Court Professionals.
Judge Condon is a past president of the S.C. Association of Probate Judges, the S.C. Association of Drug Court Professionals, the National College of Probate Judges, the Congress of State Drug Court Associations, and the National Guardianship Association.
Judge Condon started and presides over the Charleston County Adult Drug Court and led the planning team for the Charleston County Mental Health Court. Judge Condon has also been a faculty member for the National Drug Court Institute and the National Judicial College
